Broad Function:

Installs and maintains machinery and equipment in industrial establishment. Packages expanded products in bulk/semi-bulk configurations, packages product, mixes products and packages into paper bags, hand loads finished product (paper bags) onto truck trailers and other assigned tasks of a general labor nature.   Please note that this is a union position with initiation fees & dues required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Aligns machines and equipment.
  • Reads and understands parts books, and service manuals.
  • Daily housekeeping of assigned area.
  • Must be capable of making diagnostic observations of equipment to prevent problems that may affect product delivered to customers, production efficiency, or employee safety.
  • Moves machinery and equipment. Establishes and maintains mill operations in accordance with all regulatory agencies from the county, state and federal regulations.
  • Packages expanded products based on production schedule.
  • Packages products based on production schedule.
  • Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit based on loading sheets.
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units moved, handled, and produced on appropriate daily sheets.
  • Recognize hazards associated with this job and take appropriate action to avoid accidents.
  • Comprehend material safety data sheets (MSDS) and hazardous material identification system (HMIS) for products and raw materials.
  • Safely work in temperature extremes (20 F to 115 F).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to utilize instruments to measure combustible gas and oxygen deficiency
  • Must be able to comprehend material safety data sheets (MSDS) and hazardous material identification system (HMIS) for products and raw materials
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, loading charts, material labeling and safety data sheets
  • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Must be able to recognize hazards associated with this job and take appropriate action to avoid accidents.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the candidate will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.

Job Summary:

The Business Operations Manager oversees financial, administrative, and operational support functions at a mining and manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary business operations liaison between corporate headquarters and site operations, ensuring efficient processes, cost control, compliance, and strategic decision-making support. The Business Operations Manager enables operational teams to focus on production and safety while maintaining strong fiscal discipline and business performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to site leadership.
  • Track production costs, capital expenditures, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of cost allocations between mining and manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional site initiatives, including production planning, procurement, and logistics.
  • Support inventory management and materials planning to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Supervise site office personnel (HR, finance, administrative support, procurement).
  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and local laws.
  • Oversee contracts, vendor relationships, and service agreements.
  • Partner with HR on staffing, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support the site leadership in fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability.
  • Assist in implementing workforce planning, including overtime and shift coverage.
  • Prepare reports for corporate leadership, highlighting operational performance and financial outcomes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities related to business operations and cost management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, finance, or business management, preferably in mining or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with MS office applications required. (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems, D365 a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial minerals or mining operations, a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, environmental permits, and occupational safety standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with frequent interaction with mine and plant personnel.
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing/processing areas; PPE may be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lays out, assembles, installs, replaces or tests electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment, motors, switches, starters, etc., as well as wiring used in the alarms, communications and light and power systems of the buildings or the plant structures, machines or equipment.
  • Work with 480v 3 phase delta power
  • Measures, cuts, threads, hinds, assembles and installs conduit which connects the various outlets, panels, boxes, drawing wires through and properly connecting same.
  • Assists with proposed installations from blue prints, sketches or specifications.
  • Assists in maintaining adequate stock of spare parts and supplies.
  • Compiles required information with respect to operating equipment, service schedules, cost information and the like.
  • Keeps work area and equipment clean, orderly and in safe working condition
  • Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
  • Perform quality testing and inspections
  • Create and maintain repair and maintenance logs and records
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diplomas or GED.
  • Associate’s Degree a plus
  • Journeyman experience or the completion of an apprenticeship
  • Experience with PLC programing and troubleshooting
  • Experience with digital and analog Input/Output signaling
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools and industrial equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints and other technical documents
  • Experience with component selection and power system design with some experience in control signaling a plus.

Broad Function:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the electrical systems in a mineral processing and manufacturing facility. Lead in new electrical construction, installing, and troubleshooting low voltage (480V and under) electrical systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in a compliance manner that meets MSHA and OSHA requirements.

· Complete work orders, job safety analysis, and daily inspections.

· Assist and oversee contractors in new electrical construction projects.

· Operate forklift, extended forklift, manlift, and any other mobile equipment required for maintenance.

· Troubleshoot and install low voltage circuits, up to 480V (AC & DC).

· Reset and troubleshoot electrical breakers.

· Read electrical schematics and perform basic electrical calculations.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must have GED or high school diploma.

· Must have previous experience (1-year minimum) working in Electrician position.

· Knowledge of how to safely use electrical measurement devices and power tools.

· Familiarity with different electrical components.

· Follow all company safety guidelines and MSHA and OSHA regulations.

· Must be able to follow directions and have the aptitude to learn.

· Available for Emergency Call Outs.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for performing repairs, preventative, trouble-shooting maintenance within a mineral processing facility. A successful candidate requires good mechanical aptitude with ability and desire to learn. Experience in welding and mechanical and/or electrical repair desired.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Must be able to perform skilled mechanical work with ability to cut and weld.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on processing plant equipment.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to changes and communicate effectively to all parties to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Assist in the repair and fabrication of process equipment as required.
  • Be willing to work overtime as needed (including some weekends and call-ins).
  • Assist in keeping the shop and production facility organized and free of hazards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
  • Must be able to feel comfortable with operating and working on equipment with heights greater than 13 feet.
  • Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and achieve results.
  • Must have ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
