Job Summary:
The Business Operations Manager oversees financial, administrative, and operational support functions at a mining and manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary business operations liaison between corporate headquarters and site operations, ensuring efficient processes, cost control, compliance, and strategic decision-making support. The Business Operations Manager enables operational teams to focus on production and safety while maintaining strong fiscal discipline and business performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee site budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to site leadership.
- Track production costs, capital expenditures, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Ensure accurate reporting of cost allocations between mining and manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional site initiatives, including production planning, procurement, and logistics.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, finance, or business management, preferably in mining or manufacturing environments.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with MS office applications required. (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems, D365 a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industrial minerals or mining operations, a plus.

Broad Function:
Responsible for the general electrical maintenance and preventative projects, including new installations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lays out, assembles, installs, replaces or tests electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment, motors, switches, starters, etc., as well as wiring used in the alarms, communications and light and power systems of the buildings or the plant structures, machines or equipment.

- Measures, cuts, threads, hinds, assembles and installs conduit which connects the various outlets, panels, boxes, drawing wires through and properly connecting same.

Minimum Qualifications:

Job Summary:

The Mining Engineer plays a critical role in driving the safe, efficient, and sustainable extraction of diatomaceous earth, vermiculite and perlite through open-pit surface mining operations. This position blends hands-on technical expertise with leadership and strategic planning, supporting mine design, permitting, overburden management, resource recovery, and quality control while ensuring full compliance with MSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
A core priority of this role is providing day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Company’s third-party reserve reporting process. The Mining Engineer will serve as the primary technical liaison, ensuring accurate data, timely updates, and alignment between internal teams and external consultants. Working closely with production, geology, processing, and operations teams, this role helps ensure a consistent, high-quality raw material supply and the long-term sustainability of mineral reserves.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term mine plans specific to DE and perlite deposit characteristics.
- Design pits, access roads, and ripping/excavation patterns tailored to variable ore hardness, moisture, and porosity.
- Optimize loading and hauling sequences to meet production and ore quality requirements.
- Conduct cut and fill analysis, stockpile planning, and reclamation sequencing.
- Work with geology and lab teams to map ore zones and maintain selective mining practices to achieve grade targets (density, brightness, composition).
- Along with geologists, execute sampling and drill programs to support resource modeling and reserve estimation.
- Track ore reconciliation from mine to plant to improve prediction accuracy.
- Recommend equipment settings and fleet configurations (e.g., dozers, excavators, loaders, scrapers) to enhance recovery and efficiency.
- Support dust control, slope stability, and overburden removal performance.
- Review and improve strategies where required for harder ore zones.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA and environmental permits including air quality, water management, stormwater controls, and waste handling.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support reclamation planning and implementation to meet state land restoration standards.
- Analyze production KPIs such as ore-to-waste ratios, haul cycle times, and equipment utilization.
- Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and capital project proposals.
- Assist in budgeting for mining operations and expansion projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or related engineering field.
- 2+ years of experience in surface mining, preferably in industrial minerals such as diatomaceous earth, perlite, vermiculite, pumice, or aggregates.
- Skilled in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, Carlson, Vulcan, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of MSHA safety standards and environmental permitting frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS office applications, especially MS Excel.

Job Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:

Broad Function:
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the electrical systems in a mineral processing and manufacturing facility. Lead in new electrical construction, installing, and troubleshooting low voltage (480V and under) electrical systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in a compliance manner that meets MSHA and OSHA requirements.

The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for performing repairs, preventative, trouble-shooting maintenance within a mineral processing facility. A successful candidate requires good mechanical aptitude with ability and desire to learn. Experience in welding and mechanical and/or electrical repair desired.
Primary Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform skilled mechanical work with ability to cut and weld.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on processing plant equipment.
