Broad Function:

The Mobile Equipment Operator must be reliable and detail oriented for local and interstate deliveries with experience performing routine maintenance on tractors and trailers. Ability to work independently or under general supervision with inspection upon completion for quality work.

Primary Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • Possess a valid CDL license, that may include valid certification of Class A, Class B, Hazmat. A current Medical Card.
  • Ability to operate 120,000 gross pay-load over-the-road haul truck.
  • Ability to operate truck loading excavator.
  • Responsible for the safe loading and transport of bulk material products.
  • Be able to lift 60 lbs. or more on a routine basis.
  • Document information on preventive maintenance forms and meticulously keep driver logs.

Broad Function:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the electrical systems in a mineral processing and manufacturing facility. Lead in new electrical construction, installing, and troubleshooting low voltage (480V and under) electrical systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in a compliance manner that meets MSHA and OSHA requirements.

· Complete work orders, job safety analysis, and daily inspections.

· Assist and oversee contractors in new electrical construction projects.

· Operate forklift, extended forklift, manlift, and any other mobile equipment required for maintenance.

· Troubleshoot and install low voltage circuits, up to 480V (AC & DC).

· Reset and troubleshoot electrical breakers.

· Read electrical schematics and perform basic electrical calculations.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must have GED or high school diploma.

· Must have previous experience (1-year minimum) working in Electrician position.

· Knowledge of how to safely use electrical measurement devices and power tools.

· Familiarity with different electrical components.

· Follow all company safety guidelines and MSHA and OSHA regulations.

· Must be able to follow directions and have the aptitude to learn.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, loading charts, material labeling, and safety data sheets.

· Must be capable of safely accessing ladders, elevated work platforms, stairs, and manlifts to repair, inspect, or adjust equipment while maintaining three-point contact to minimize the risk of falling.

· Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.

· Must be able to recognize hazards associated with this job and take appropriate action to avoid accidents.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good DMV record.

· Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment.

Broad Function:

CDL driver, reliable and detail oriented for local and interstate deliveries with experience performing routine maintenance on tractors and trailers (pneumatic, flatbed, dry van.)  Ability to work independently or under general supervision with inspection upon completion for quality work.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Possess a valid CDL Class A License, a Medical Card, and, if available, a copy of a 10-year DMV report.
  • Responsible for the safe loading and transport of product from one location in the Fallon area to another.  Driver must properly secure and tarpaulin the load.    Further, the driver will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the vehicle to ensure its operational readiness is maintained and is safe for highway travel.
  • Be able to lift 60 lbs. or more on a routine basis.
  • Documents information on preventive maintenance forms and meticulously keep driver logs.
  • Be able to and comfortable with operating and working on pneumatic trailers and railroad cars (heights greater than 13 feet).

Minimum Qualifications:

Broad Function:

Responsible for preventive maintenance on stationary equipment including screens, conveyors, screws, elevators, and crushers. Please note that this is a union position with initiation fees & dues required. There are no costs for medical benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all responsibilities expected of a Maintenance Helper:
  • Perform basic welding and fabrication using stick welder, wire feed welder, acetylene torch, plasma cutter, grinder.
  • Take precise measurements and read basic drawings or blue-prints.
  • Replace bearings on all stationary equipment.
  • Inspect, replace, and patch all on site screens.
  • Replace idlers and rollers for all on site conveyor belts.
  • Replace all V-belts and power bands on all stationary equipment.
  • Operate extended fork, manlifts, and other mobile equipment used to perform maintenance.
  • Inspect Roller Mills (oil, rolls, plows and rings), Vertical Shaft Impact Crushers (oil, shoes, anvils, edge liners, and feed screws).
  • Replace baghouse filters (cages, venturis, and filter bag).
  • Install screw conveyor sheer bolts.
  • Familiar with safe rigging practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of how to safely use hand, fabrication, measurement, and power tools.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and regulations found in 30 CFR (Mineral Resources).
  • Must have all tools from the Minimum Tool List.
  • Must be able to follow directions and have the aptitude to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with Mine/Plant layout and equipment location.
  • Available for Emergency Call Outs
  • Internal Hire: Must be Socorro Mine Maintenance Helper for 6-months to 1-year or have been a previous “Maintenance Mechanic” for minimum 1-year.
  • External Hire: 2 to 4 years external experience in a technical field.

Broad Function:

The Manufacturing Technician position is responsible for providing a multitude of responsibilities. A successful candidate requires good mechanical aptitude with ability and desire to learn. For this position one(1) week a month will require twelve (12) hour shifts for five (5) days. The remainder of the month is a four (4) day work week. Overtime is required for this position. This position is in Hawthorne, Nevada.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Perform safety inspection of work area and equipment.

· Inspect personal safety equipment for functional working conditions: hard hats, safety toed shoes, eye protection respirators, ear plugs, clothing, etc.

· Observe all employees working in the laborer’s assigned area to see they are in a condition to work safely and are working safely.

· Report any hazards in assigned work area to mill operator lead and record on mill report.

· Complete pre-inspection report on any equipment that laborer may be required to use during shift.

· Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.

· Report any issues to the supervisor.

· Be available to help if needed and to help clean up when the task is completed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.

· Must have ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for performing repairs, preventative, trouble-shooting maintenance within a mineral processing facility. A successful candidate requires good mechanical aptitude with ability and desire to learn. Experience in welding and mechanical and/or electrical repair desired.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Must be able to perform skilled mechanical work with ability to cut and weld.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on processing plant equipment.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to changes and communicate effectively to all parties to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Assist in the repair and fabrication of process equipment as required.
  • Be willing to work overtime as needed (including some weekends and call-ins).
  • Assist in keeping the shop and production facility organized and free of hazards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
