Job Summary: The lead plant supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the expander facility at our Specialty Vermiculite facility in Enoree, South Carolina from processing to packaging and shipping of minerals for customers. This position will supervise 3-7 employees. This position is also responsible for compliance with the expander facility, working closely with the Plant Manager and the sales team to ensure all products meet customer specifications and the needs of the customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operational tasks associated with a bulk material manufacturing and packaging plant.
- Schedule and oversee production, maintenance, and shipping activities.
- Conduct daily laboratory testing and oversee production quality and ensure products are produced to customer specifications
- Operate forklift and load palletized packaged material into box trucks.
- Work with internal company departments to schedule production, logistics, and customer requirements, proficiency in Office Word and Excel required.
- Oversee complex maintenance projects, experience in heavy industrial required.
- Oversee and assure compliance with OSHA regulation and internal HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct ISO 9000 compliance documentation and auditing.
- Work to ensure safe and desirable workplace.
- Provide high level of communication to all facility personnel
- Manage resource planning to ensure safe and dependable production practices.
- Monitor and adjust workflows and technology for constant improvement and reduction of downtime risk
- Facilitate team meetings/calls, and assist in the scheduling of ongoing training initiatives
- Monitor and track operational performance of equipment and production personnel.
- Promote a positive outlook and attitude within team environments.
- Identify solutions to problems and challenges.
- Clearly communicate team performance goals and coach team members for constant improvement.
- Provide consistent feedback to management on business opportunities, barriers to success, and potential solutions to complex issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Mineral Processing: 5-10 years of heavy industrial manufacturing experience.
- 5 years’ management experience
- Proven ability to deal with time sensitive problems using industry, product knowledge and relationship building skills.
- Proven ability to cycle work effectively when facing competing priorities.
- Proven ability to utilize data to constantly improve operations.
- Ability to coach, manage, and lead…high energy, positive thinker.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience in industrial minerals and their related manufactured products.

Customer Experience Specialist

Broad Function:
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the electrical systems in a mineral processing and manufacturing facility. Lead in new electrical construction, installing, and troubleshooting low voltage (480V and under) electrical systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in a compliance manner that meets MSHA and OSHA requirements.
· Complete work orders, job safety analysis, and daily inspections.
· Assist and oversee contractors in new electrical construction projects.
· Operate forklift, extended forklift, manlift, and any other mobile equipment required for maintenance.
· Troubleshoot and install low voltage circuits, up to 480V (AC & DC).
· Reset and troubleshoot electrical breakers.
· Read electrical schematics and perform basic electrical calculations.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must have GED or high school diploma.
· Must have previous experience (1-year minimum) working in Electrician position.
· Knowledge of how to safely use electrical measurement devices and power tools.
· Familiarity with different electrical components.
· Follow all company safety guidelines and MSHA and OSHA regulations.
· Must be able to follow directions and have the aptitude to learn.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Broad Function:
The Manufacturing Technician position is responsible for providing a multitude of responsibilities. A successful candidate requires good mechanical aptitude with ability and desire to learn. For this position one(1) week a month will require twelve (12) hour shifts for five (5) days. The remainder of the month is a four (4) day work week. Overtime is required for this position. This position is in Hawthorne, Nevada.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Perform safety inspection of work area and equipment.
· Inspect personal safety equipment for functional working conditions: hard hats, safety toed shoes, eye protection respirators, ear plugs, clothing, etc.
· Observe all employees working in the laborer’s assigned area to see they are in a condition to work safely and are working safely.
· Report any hazards in assigned work area to mill operator lead and record on mill report.
· Complete pre-inspection report on any equipment that laborer may be required to use during shift.
· Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
· Report any issues to the supervisor.
· Be available to help if needed and to help clean up when the task is completed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
· Must have ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for performing repairs, preventative, trouble-shooting maintenance within a mineral processing facility. A successful candidate requires good mechanical aptitude with ability and desire to learn. Experience in welding and mechanical and/or electrical repair desired.
Primary Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform skilled mechanical work with ability to cut and weld.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on processing plant equipment.
- Must be able to adapt quickly to changes and communicate effectively to all parties to keep operations running efficiently.
- Assist in the repair and fabrication of process equipment as required.
- Be willing to work overtime as needed (including some weekends and call-ins).
- Assist in keeping the shop and production facility organized and free of hazards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
