Dicalite Announces Price Increases Across Industrial Mineral Product Lines
Dicalite Management Group recently announced price increases across all its Diatomaceous Earth (DE), Perlite, and Vermiculite product lines. The 5-20% product price increase will affect all shipments scheduled to leave DMG facilities on or after January 1, 2021.
As the company continues to work on plant efficiency and supply chain initiatives, we find it necessary to adjust our pricing to help alleviate the cost inflation we are experiencing. Some of the specific areas affecting our business are:
• Packaging costs
• Transportation costs
• Fuel and power costs
• Labor costs and availability
