Dicalite Announces Price Increases Across Industrial Mineral Product Lines
Dicalite Management Group recently announced price increases across all its Diatomaceous Earth (DE) product lines. The 8-20% product price increase will affect shipments scheduled to leave DMG facilities on or after August 1, 2022.
We continue to be challenged by our local labor markets and the competition for qualified staffing. Additionally, we are seeing ongoing increases in raw materials, packaging, transportation, fuel and equipment pricing. This is being partially offset by some of our capital initiatives and efficiency upgrades but is still not enough. While we continue to work on cost mitigation, plant efficiency and supply chain initiatives, we find it necessary to adjust our pricing to help alleviate the cost inflation we are experiencing.
